This short video will show you how to connect your MetaMask wallet to My Wealth Connect.
You should have already watched the video on how to set up your MetaMask wallet. That video shows how to add the BSC network, but you also need to add the USDT or Tether to the BSC network.
It should be noted that you can also use Trust Wallet with the same seed words and it might be more available for some in different countries. The purpose of using MetaMask or Trust Wallet is to be able to connect bank accounts and debit cards.
The most important issue is to make sure you connect to the Binance Smart Chain or BSC network in order to keep fees to a minimum.
In your My Wealth Connect back office when you select your payment profile you will notice three different crypto currencies to connect to. The ERC 20 network can cost many dollars in fees to send even a few dollars. The TRC 20 is a lot less expensive; however, it is not as common for other wallets to transfer funds to banks. You want to select the last option USDT BSC. This network only charges about 15 cents to send a transaction and can save you a LOT of fees over time. Now you know the reason for setting up your payment on the BSC blockchain.
Assuming you have watched the MetaMask wallet setup video and have your wallet working with a valid address we will now cover how to set up BSC.
When you first open MetaMask it will be on the Ethereum network. You can tell that by the little blue logo in the top left corner. Also, at the bottom you will see the default chain coin Ethereum with the little blue logo indicating the Ethereum blockchain. This means Ethereum or ERC 20 is the default network with high fees.
Your account number will be at the top of the page. Think of it as your mailing address for your money.
Click the blue Ethereum logo in the top left corner.
Now select the Binance Smart Chain. If you do not see it, click the add custom network and find the Gold Logo with a cube on it that says Binance Smart Chain or BSC.
Notice the major change in your wallet. The logo in the top left corner will turn to the gold BSC network logo. Also, on the bottom the main currency paying fees will be BND. That will be a Gold BNB logo with a little gold network logo.
It is important to note that you cannot make transactions in USDT until you have funds in your BNB to pay fees. You will fund your BNB with a few dollars and that will be enough to pay for many transactions. Keep in mind that as long as you have a crypto address active in your MWC profile, the company will send you funds daily even if it is only one dollar requiring a lot of transaction fees.
Next click the tree dots on the right or import tokens if on an iPhone. Then click Import Tokens.
Make sure you are on the Binance Smart Chain. If not, click the arrow at the end and change the network from Ethereum to BSC.
Type Tether in the search box until you see the Green Tether USD with the Gold USDT network logo. Put a check mark in the box. Then click next.
You will see the Tether USD token if correct. Now press the import button.
If done correctly you will now have both Tether and BNB coins in your wallet.
Click the Tether coin and you will see a chart of the changing price of Tether. Notice you can SEND Tether, but you cannot receive it. You can also buy or sell Tether.
Click the back arrow and select the BNB coin. You will see the changing price chart for BND. Notice you can buy AND receive BND. In reality what you receive is not important. The sender must know what to send you.
Click the receive button and you will see a QR Code and an address to copy for receiving BNB OR Tether since it is the same address.
Someone can now send BNB and Tether to you. But you will need BNB to send the money from your wallet.
Now that your MetaMask or Trust Wallet is set up to send and receive USDT on the BSC network, let us integrate it in your back office of My Wealth Connect.
In your back office of My Wealth Connect, click your Payment Profile on the left under Accounts. Then Click in the Select Currency field. Select the USDT BSC dropdown.
You can now enter your MetaMask Wallet address and select Submit.
If you did it correctly you will see a popup saying it is a valid address.
Now you will see your currency and address below the wallet field and a little red trash can at the end under the Action field.
You are basically done. Once a day the computer will take all your earnings and send them to your MetaMask Wallet.
Note: In the beginning when you are only earning a few dollars a day, you may want to delete the address and let your wallet build up in value. Then paste your address back in to receive your total wallet with a small transaction fee. Then delete it again and let your wallet build.
I would put the address in after earning a few dollars just to make sure it transfers to your MetaMask, then delete the address and wait for your wallet to build and put it in again for a withdrawal.
Currently there is no auto payment with crypto so you may need to withdraw some to have it in your wallet to pay your next month fee.
The company is working on an autopay crypto wallet you can leave funds in for autopay.
